About The Position

Jones Walker LLP is seeking an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant to support attorneys in the Bankruptcy & Restructuring and Energy Litigation practices in its Houston office. The role is suited to a detail-oriented professional who works well in a fast-paced environment, embraces technology, and provides high-quality support to attorneys and clients. The successful candidate will have strong litigation support experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities while collaborating with attorneys, paralegals, and administrative professionals. The position also requires ownership of assignments and deadlines, sound judgment and discretion, professionalism, and the ability to work independently and anticipate attorney needs. This job summary represents the major responsibilities and accountabilities of the position. Incumbents may be asked to perform other job-related tasks. Qualified individuals will be interviewed before the Human Resources department requests a criminal background check. Where a background check is applicable, employment is contingent on successful completion of a background investigation; criminal history will not automatically disqualify a candidate.
