About The Position

We grow while staying grounded in a people-first culture focused on collaboration, respect, and strong client service with 20+ offices across the U.S. We are hiring a full-time Legal Administrative Assistant to support our Litigation team in Walnut Creek. This is a hybrid role with three days in the office and two days remote each week. You will be a fit for this position if you enjoy supporting multiple attorneys, staying organized, and producing high-quality work in a busy legal environment. Experience supporting Labor & Employment matters is beneficial, but not required. This position supports attorneys across locations, including one attorney based in Oregon, offering the opportunity to work collaboratively with colleagues in another state.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of litigation legal administrative assistant experience.
  • Advanced command of the English language, including spelling, grammar, and formatting.
  • Comfortable working with confidential information.
  • Familiarity with the preparation of tables of contents and tables of authorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with DocuSign, Adobe, or Kofax.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Labor & Employment support experience.
  • Experience with iManage and/or Intapp.

Responsibilities

  • Support multiple attorneys with daily administrative and litigation-related tasks.
  • Manage calendars, scheduling, deadlines, and court docketing.
  • Format, proofread, and finalize legal documents and correspondence.
  • Conduct online research, including PACER and court and agency databases.
  • Help with conflict checks and retention letters.
  • Communicate with clients and colleagues by phone, email, and in person.
  • Organize and maintain files; prepare case binders and related materials.
  • Submit court filings, including e-filing.
  • Track CLE requirements and coordinate projects with other departments.
