LED Repair Technician
About The Position
Join a leading professional audiovisual equipment rental and staging company supporting corporate events, live productions, and concert tours nationwide. Known for its extensive AV and LED inventory and strong commitment to quality and technical support. As an LED Repair Technician, you'll play an important role in keeping LED equipment rental-ready and meeting the high quality standards expected by clients. You'll be responsible for repairing LED modules, maintaining spare-parts inventory, analyzing repair data, and supporting warehouse and QC operations. This is a hands-on technical role suited for someone with experience in electronics, technical service, repair, or quality control.
Requirements
- 2+ years A/V rental or related technical experience
- 2+ years Technical Service experience
- 2+ years Quality Control experience
- Technical certification in a related field
- Basic electronic, mechanical, and troubleshooting skills
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Strong organization, communication, and time-management skills

- Bachelor's degree in an engineering or related technical discipline
- Additional technical certifications
Responsibilities
- Solder, troubleshoot, and repair PCBs used in LED modules
- Repair and waterproof LED modules
- Solder diodes to circuit boards and replace module components
- Replace and glue LED masks as needed
- Diagnose the cause of LED module failures and document findings
- Report client-related damage to the appropriate internal teams
- Collect and analyze LED failure data and prepare repair reports
- Purchase, organize, and maintain LED repair and spare-parts inventory
- Coordinate LED service and repairs with OEMs and vendors
- Prioritize repaired LED modules for release based on warehouse demand
- Monitor deliveries and follow up on past-due shipments
- Communicate repair and service status with Customer Service and Logistics
- Update and maintain internal software and tracking systems
- Build strong vendor relationships and monitor vendor performance
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement
- Assist with purchase-order and invoice research as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following 5S standards
- Support warehouse and QC operations, including shipping, receiving, palletizing, de-palletizing, and order verification
