Repair Technician

Ultralux HealthAmerican Fork, UT
Onsite

About The Position

We're looking for a Repair Technician to work at our bench in American Fork, diagnosing, repairing, testing, and refurbishing returned units. Our hydrogen water systems are the main workload and where your training will start, but you'll also be cross-trained on red light therapy repairs and, over time, other product lines as the need grows. This is an entry-level position and a genuine opportunity to learn a trade — you'll get hands-on with real diagnostic work from your first weeks. You'll report to the Operations Manager, who owns your schedule, priorities, and performance. Day-to-day training and technical direction come from our Water Machine Service Lead. We're hiring for aptitude and reliability, not for a resume. If you're the person who takes things apart to see how they work, this is a good fit.

Requirements

  • Mechanically inclined with demonstrated hands-on repair or build experience — professional, trade school, side work, or personal projects all count
  • Comfortable with hand tools and detail-oriented enough to reassemble equipment correctly
  • Reliable and on time; this is a set weekday schedule and the team depends on it
  • Able to follow written procedures precisely and document your work
  • Willing to learn and ask questions instead of guessing
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

  • Any prior repair, assembly, maintenance, warehouse, or field service experience
  • Basic familiarity with electrical or plumbing components — pumps, valves, seals, filters, sensors, wiring
  • Experience using a computer for logging work, tickets, or inventory

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and test returned and defective units to identify what's wrong — primarily hydrogen water systems, plus red light therapy devices and other product lines as you're trained on them
  • Disassemble, repair, replace components, and reassemble equipment following our repair procedures
  • Run units through testing and validation before they're cleared for resale or returned to a customer
  • Log findings, parts used, and repair outcomes accurately for every unit you touch
  • Clean, package, and prepare refurbished units for shipment
  • Keep the repair bench, tools, and parts inventory organized, and flag low parts before they hold up work
  • Escalate units and failure patterns to the Service Lead when something is outside your training or looks like a recurring problem
  • Support receiving, staging, and moving inventory as needed

Benefits

  • Paid, hands-on training in equipment repair — starting with our water systems and expanding into red light and other product lines
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Paid time off
  • Employee discounts on UltraLux products
  • A predictable weekday schedule — no nights, no weekends, no on-call
  • Room to grow as you build skill and take on more complex repairs
