About The Position
The Lecturer will be responsible for teaching three courses per semester, covering elementary and intermediate levels of Hindi-Urdu. Additional duties include maintaining regular office hours and coordinating cultural enrichment activities.
Requirements
- Native or near-native proficiency in Hindi and/or Urdu and English.
- Experience teaching Hindi and/or Urdu as a second language (preferably at the university level in the U.S.).
- Knowledge of current best practices and technologies in language teaching.
Nice To Haves
- Facility with both the Devanagari (Hindi) and Nastaliq (Urdu) writing systems.
