The Department of Information Systems and Operations Management (ISOM) of Warrington College of Business at the University of Florida is inviting applications for a nine-month, non-tenure track position at the level of Lecturer starting January 2027. Qualified candidates should possess an MS or PhD in Operations and Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics or a closely related field. Prior teaching experience, particularly at the undergraduate level, is strongly preferred, though not required. The instructor will collaborate closely with core faculty in the ISOM department. Responsibilities include facilitating business lab sessions, assisting with course coordination, supporting student teams, and contributing to the continued development of experiential learning activities and course content. This includes projects focused on the effective use of AI tools and helping students more fully appreciate the complexity and interdisciplinary nature of business decision-making. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal and organizational skills, along with a collaborative approach to working with faculty, staff, and students. Our department currently offers undergraduate, master’s, and Ph.D. programs in ISOM. Our master’s program is the largest graduate program in the Warrington College of Business attracting high-quality students. The faculty members in our department are well-known researchers and teachers with interests in Information Systems, Operations Management, and the interface thereof.
