About The Position

Computer Science and Engineering is looking to hire a part-time adjunct professor to help teach for Fall semester. The position will require knowledge in computer architecture, digital design, and course development for computer systems classes as well as the ability to ensure the compatibility in pedagogical tool use across prerequisites in the digital design through computer architecture prerequisite chain.
Adjunct Teaching Professors are expected to teach two to three courses per semester based on College of Engineering guidelines. Summer teaching opportunities may be available.

Requirements

• Master’s degree (Doctoral Degree preferred) in Computer Science and Engineering or a closely related field of study
• Knowledge in computer architecture
• Knowledge in digital design
• Teaching experience
• Interests in teaching
• Ability to submit a letter of application detailing relevant qualifications
• Ability to submit a curriculum vitae
• Ability to submit sample syllabi from courses taught
• Ability to submit the names and contact information for three references
• Successful completion of background check(s)
