The Department of Materials Science and Engineering is seeking an outstanding academic to join their team as a Lecturer (Level B) or Senior Lecturer (Level C). This opportunity is suited to a researcher with expertise in thin film magnetic materials, quantum materials, or closely related disciplines who is passionate about advancing research and delivering high-quality teaching. The successful candidate will develop and lead an innovative research program in the areas of thin film magnetic and quantum materials while contributing to teaching across the Department of Materials Science and Engineering. Particular emphasis will be placed on developing and delivering curriculum relevant to these emerging and rapidly evolving fields. At Senior Lecturer, the appointee will be expected to make significant contributions to teaching, research, scholarship and professional activities, while leading new areas of research and teaching within the department. At Lecturer, the appointee will contribute to the teaching and research activities of the department and establish an independent research profile aligned with departmental priorities.
