About The Position

The Faculty of Science at Monash University is seeking an outstanding academic to join the School of Earth, Atmosphere and Environment to strengthen geoscience research and education. The Lecturer / Senior Lecturer will develop excellence in research and education in any sub-discipline of geoscience. Candidates are sought who bring innovative perspectives and new research directions, building on and extending existing strengths within the School. Specific interest lies in geoscientists who can integrate detailed field observations with quantitative and/or analytical approaches to investigate physical and/or geochemical processes recorded in rocks across a range of geological settings, and translate these skills into high-quality teaching.
