The Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISE) department at the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering (HWCOE) at the University of Florida is seeking applications for a full-time, twelve-month, non-tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Master Lecturer (working title Assistant/Associate/Full Instructional Professor). UF ISE offers B.S., M.E., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees, with approximately 550 undergraduate and 200 graduate students. The department's research spans areas such as advanced manufacturing, energy systems, healthcare systems, human-in-the-loop systems, supply chain systems, and transportation systems, with methodological research in data analytics, human systems engineering, manufacturing, optimization, simulation, and stochastic analysis. This position supports the growth of the HWCOE and the ISE Department, complementing existing full-time instructional faculty. The role involves teaching, curriculum development, data collection on student performance, and managing course content for accreditation. Additionally, the position will engage students in undergraduate research, college/university committees, and student organizations. The tentative faculty portfolio is 75% teaching and 25% department/professional service and research.
