About The Position

The Fisher College of Business is accepting applications for a Semester Lecture appointment (temporary position; Autumn 2026) to teach a graduate course in strategic global sourcing. Duties include but are not limited to: preparing and coordinating the course, holding office hours; grading assignments and submitting grades. The course will be taught online; but the applicant must reside in Ohio and be willing to be on campus periodically, as needed.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge and experience in strategic global sourcing
  • Ability to effectively engage with students in online learning environments.
  • Ability to collaborate with fellow instructors, graduate teaching associates, and undergraduate teaching assistants

Nice To Haves

  • Extensive content knowledge in the topics of the course (outsourcing/make-buy, offshoring, strategic procurement, etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience teaching, formally at or in other contexts

Responsibilities

  • Providing clear expectations for student assessment, and detailed and timely feedback
  • Creating an engaging and inclusive classroom environment
  • Commitment to student success.
  • Collaboration with fellow instructors, as appropriate
