About The Position

The Department of Music and Theatre at California State University Bakersfield is accepting applications for a pool of part-time lecturers for the academic year 2026-2027. This pool is used to fill short-term temporary Lecturer positions on an as-needed basis throughout the academic year, with appointments potentially lasting from one day to a whole semester. Applications in this pool are valid for the current academic year only and will close on May 31, 2027. A new application will be required for consideration in subsequent academic years.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution, or equivalent professional experience demonstrating the qualifications necessary to perform the duties of the position.
