About The Position
The Department of Communication and Theatre at Auburn University at Montgomery invites applications for a non-tenure track, full-time lecturer position, to begin August 2026. This is a one-year (nine-month), renewable appointment. The successful candidate will join three colleagues in an esteemed Theatre program that produces three annual productions with Theatre AUM, one of which receives an external response for the American College Theater Festival each year.
Requirements
- MFA in Theatre
- Meet eligibility requirements for work in the United States at the time of appointment

Responsibilities
- Teaching courses appropriate to the needs of the department
- Maintaining office hours
- Teaching load of 4-4 courses (24 credit hrs) per academic year (Fall and Spring)
- Summer teaching is possible
