Adjunct Faculty, Lecturer of Photography
About The Position
Colorado Mesa University is seeking a part-time Lecturer of Photography to teach two three-credit-hour sections of Introduction to Photography per semester, starting January 2027. Introduction to Photography is a 200-level foundations course for majors in all programs of the Art and Design Department. The university is particularly interested in candidates with experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and a demonstrated commitment to improving access and success for underrepresented students in higher education. Applicants must provide a cover letter, resume, and copies of transcripts for all completed degrees. Final applicants are subject to reference checks and a criminal history record check, and, when appropriate, financial and/or motor vehicle history checks. Requirements
- A master's degree (MA or MFA) in Photography or another art-related field; or a BFA in Photography or a related field and at least 10 years of combined experience working in an art-related field.
