About The Position

This is an applicant pool for Lecturer positions in Mathematics for the Academic Year 2026-2027. Positions are part-time, temporary, non-tenure, and contingent upon course offerings, sufficient student enrollment, position clearance, and availability of funding. Lecturers must be available to teach courses during the day, evening, weekend, and/or via distance learning, as needed.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics or a closely related discipline relevant to the courses being taught.
  • Demonstrated teaching effectiveness.
  • Must be available to teach courses during the day, evening, weekend, and/or via distance learning, as needed.
  • Satisfy employment eligibility verification requirements of the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986.
  • Pass reference checks of previous employers.
  • Pass criminal history record checks (for certain positions).

Nice To Haves

  • Doctoral degree in Mathematics or Statistics from an accredited institution.
  • Demonstrated high-quality instruction and teaching effectiveness at the college level.

Responsibilities

  • Teach assigned courses in Mathematics or Statistics.
  • Maintain a minimum of one office hour per week for each course taught.
  • Prepare course syllabi and reports related to teaching and student progress.
