About The Position

The Education Department is seeking a part-time instructor to teach EDUC 312: Integrating Arts in the Learning Process. This course focuses on the integration of fine arts (visual arts, drama, music, and dance) into the elementary school curriculum (K-8) across various subjects to enhance learning. The course will be held in person on Wednesday evenings from 7:00-9:50 PM during the Spring 2027 semester. The department is committed to culturally responsive pedagogies.

Requirements

  • A minimum of an earned master’s degree in education, fine arts, or related field(s).
  • Substantive experience teaching visual arts, drama, music, and/or dance in PK-12 settings.
  • Substantive experience integrating fine arts into the self-contained elementary classroom.
