This is a part-time, temporary position for the Fall 2026 semester, serving as a lecturer candidate pool. Assignments are made as needed, contingent upon funding, satisfactory performance, and actual staffing requirements. The role involves teaching assigned courses in the Welding discipline, maintaining office hours, providing instruction to meet student learning objectives, preparing course syllabi and reports, and working under the supervision of the discipline coordinator or division chairperson. The position requires commitment to community college principles and philosophy, and may involve teaching evening and weekend classes, on campus, at military bases, secondary education sites, or via distance learning (internet). This is not a remote position. Teaching on military bases requires a Department of Defense security clearance, and teaching Early College courses requires background checks.
