Lecturer - Business 300: Business Professional Development (Fall 2026)
About The Position
Chula Vista College of Business Administration at California State University San Marcos seeks a part-time lecturer for Fall 2026 to teach a section of BUS 300: Business Professional Development. This course develops students as business professionals by focusing on identifying career options that align with interests, values, and skills, as it relates to pursuing a position in one’s desired field. It emphasizes professional and effective interactions with others and culminates with an Individual Development Plan to help students clarify short- and long-term career goals and create an action plan to reach those goals.
Requirements
- A master's degree in business or in a related discipline
- Active current industry experience in a business-related position
- Working in the State of California is a condition of employment.
Nice To Haves
- A doctorate or equivalent
- Previous teaching experience at a four-year university and/or community college.
- Demonstrate intercultural competence and a commitment to serving our campus community as it relates to teaching and, as applicable, service.
