About The Position

The Music Department at Ursinus College is seeking a part-time choral ensemble director to begin in August 2026. The selected candidate will lead the Voices of Ursinus SATB concert choir, a 1-credit per semester ensemble. The choir rehearses once a week for two hours and presents one major campus concert each semester, with the possibility of an additional performance. This is a part-time, adjunct position.

Requirements

• Master of Music degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to direct a concert choir.
• Experience with SATB repertoire.

Responsibilities

• Direct the Voices of Ursinus SATB concert choir.
• Prepare the choir for one major campus concert each semester.
• Potentially organize and execute one additional on- or off-campus performance per semester.
