About The Position

The Faculty of Law, Civil Law Section, is seeking to recruit part-time professors who are distinguished by their expertise and play a leading role in the legal profession. This course involves choosing a topic for in-depth study over the academic year. The learner must define a research question, conduct a literature review, and write a long paper to be submitted at the end of the program. This is a lecture-based course.

Requirements

  • Hold an LL.L. or LL.B. (or equivalent)
  • Be a member in good standing of the Barreau du Québec, the bar of another province, or the Chambre des notaires du Québec
  • Have significant and relevant experience in the field concerned by this course and/or hold a graduate degree in this field and/or have contributed to research through academic publications demonstrating recognized expertise in this field

Nice To Haves

  • University teaching experience in a law faculty is an asset.
