The Leave of Absence (LOA) Coordinator provides operational and service support across CLA’s People Solutions team, with a primary focus on leave administration. The role supports day-to-day leave program administration and helps family members navigate leave-related processes, while also providing support across other People Solutions functions as business needs evolve. The position may be based in several CLA locations and is cross-functional rather than limited exclusively to leave-related work. The coordinator develops knowledge across People Solutions processes and programs and may shift or expand support according to service volumes, team priorities, and business needs. The role delivers timely, accurate, and responsive service while maintaining data and process integrity and a consistent family member experience. The position supports administration of FMLA, disability, parental leave, and other time-off programs; processes leave requests; maintains records in Workday and applicable leave management systems; and communicates with family members about leave questions, eligibility, documentation, timelines, and next steps. It coordinates with Payroll, Benefits, third-party administrators, and other People Solutions partners, and supports leave reporting, audits, and compliance reviews. The role also participates in the MyPeopleSolutions Service Center, monitors and routes incoming requests, responds to routine service requests and policy questions, and escalates issues as appropriate. Additional duties include initiating, monitoring, and auditing Workday transactions; supporting operational activities across People Solutions; communicating process requirements and changes; maintaining records and documentation; and providing cross-functional coverage. Confidentiality and discretion are required when handling sensitive information.
