Leave and Disability Manager
About The Position
Prime Healthcare is seeking a Leave and Disability Manager for its corporate team. The role assists with oversight of leave and disability program policies and administration across facilities nationwide. It helps lead the team responsible for administering leave and accommodation requests in accordance with federal, state, and local laws, including the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and short- and long-term disability plans. The manager interprets and administers programs and policies under applicable employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, USERRA, and the Pregnancy Discrimination Act. The position monitors leave and accommodation trends, establishes benchmarks and goals, and develops action plans as needed. It also builds relationships with senior leaders to anticipate service needs and develop solutions, while providing transformational leadership and strategic planning focused on business results.
Requirements
- A college degree or at least 3 years of experience in leave administration.
- Previous experience coordinating employee leaves, such as medical, personal, FMLA, or ADA leaves.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Superior interpersonal skills.
