About The Position

Peak Living is seeking a Leasing Specialist to support and assist with all aspects of community operations under the direction of the Community Manager. The role supports customer service, leasing, marketing, lease administration, delinquency collection, and resident retention activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate in English.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as an onsite Leasing Consultant in multifamily housing, hospitality, or a similar industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support and participate in customer service and leasing responsibilities.
• Uphold leasing and marketing standards, including telephone marketing, greeting prospective residents, gathering prospect information, setting appointments, showing ready and model apartments, generating quotes, closing, securing deposits, and assisting with rental applications and credit verification.
• Assist in preparing paperwork for new and renewal lease agreements.
• Insert lease renewal rates as approved by the Community Manager and assist with delivering renewal letters to secure lease renewals.
• Review resident files and accounting records to identify unpaid amounts and late fees, communicate with residents about outstanding balances, implement delinquency collection procedures, and enforce leases to maximize revenue.
• Assist the Community Manager with organizing resident activities, preparing newsletters, and maintaining resident loyalty and retention.
