About The Position

Peak Living is seeking a Leasing Specialist to support and assist with all aspects of community operations under the direction of the Community Manager. The role supports customer service and leasing activities, helps prepare and manage lease paperwork, contributes to lease renewals and delinquency collection, and assists with resident activities and retention.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate in English.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as an onsite Leasing Consultant in multifamily housing, hospitality, or a similar industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support and participate in customer service and leasing responsibilities.
• Uphold leasing and marketing standards by handling telephone marketing, greeting prospective residents, gathering prospect information, setting appointments, showing ready and model apartments, generating quotes, closing leases, securing deposits, and helping prospective residents complete rental applications and credit verification.
• Assist in preparing paperwork for new and renewal lease agreements.
• Insert lease renewal rates approved by the Community Manager and assist with delivering renewal letters to secure lease renewals.
• Review resident files and accounting records to identify unpaid balances and late fees; communicate with residents about outstanding balances, implement delinquency collection procedures, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.
• Assist the Community Manager with organizing resident activities, preparing newsletters, and maintaining resident loyalty and retention.
