Headquartered in Charlotte, NC, we manage 4,000 units and aim to expand to 10,000 by 2030. We are seeking a Leasing Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for leasing, marketing, and maintaining positive resident relations within the community. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for providing outstanding customer service.
Requirements
- Passion for providing exceptional customer service
- Solid computer knowledge (Windows, Word, Excel, internet, email)
Nice To Haves
- 1+ years of Leasing experience in a Multifamily environment
- Affordable Housing leasing experience
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends based on business needs
- Working knowledge of Yardi and/or RealPage Property Management software
Responsibilities
- Take on more responsibility for managing leads, following up with prospects, and closing leases.
- Process rental applications, secure deposits, and ensure compliance with Fair Housing requirements.
- Ensure apartments are ready for new residents and coordinate move-ins.
- Follow up with residents to ensure satisfaction on maintenance service requests.
- Assist in planning and hosting resident appreciation and retention events.
