Leasing Specialists at AVE are talented sales professionals that play a hands-on role in driving results for their community's leasing program. They are responsible for activities related to our luxury apartment rentals, including leasing and move-ins. Successful Leasing Specialists enjoy building relationships with prospects and residents to learn about their needs and exceed their expectations. They have extremely strong follow-up skills and are passionate about selling the AVE lifestyle and closing leases! Successful Leasing Specialists meet and exceed leasing goals and provide a high level of service to our prospects and residents. You will thrive in this role if... You have an understanding of the leasing process and are sales-oriented. You love to connect with prospects to learn about and meet their needs, are passionate about closing leases, and have strong follow-up skills. You are a people person. You must enjoy building strong relationships with prospects and residents and participating in Resident Events to foster a strong sense of community. You have a "yes" approach to customer service. You will be responsible for day-to-day operations at the community, such as creating key cards, logging packages, check-in and check-out procedures, servicing the coffee station, and more. You have excellent communication skills. You will communicate with residents and guests directly by responding to requests via emails, phone calls, and face-to-face interactions. You will also communicate internally through coordination with management, maintenance, and housekeeping team members regarding move-ins, move-outs, make-readies, and work orders. Requirements

  • 1 to 3+ years of proven sales/leasing experience
  • Proven success in meeting and exceeding sales goals
  • Proven execution of successful sales strategies to close new leases
  • Tenacious and skilled at overcoming objections
  • Strong communication and relationship building and follow-up skills
  • Willingness to master and use a CRM, systems, and other sales tools
  • Schedule flexibility in order to prioritize and pivot to business and prospect needs
  • Must have reliable source of transportation
  • Must be available to work the required part-time schedule of Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm, Saturday 9:30am to 5:00pm, and Sunday 9:00am to 4:00pm.

Nice To Haves

  • Hospitality, travel, relocation, corporate housing, or multifamily industry experience strongly preferred
  • Experience in Yardi CRM and/or Zendesk Sell is a plus!
