Responsibilities

Conduct apartment tours with prospective residents
Complete leasing agent documents and collect rental deposits
Ensure "model" apartments are ready to be shown
Understand lease terms, specifications, and all community policies
Utilize leasing agent sales and closing techniques
Maintain knowledge of the current market, pricing, and community amenities
Maintain contact with apartment locator services and local businesses to keep the community relevant and competitive
Shop local competitor communities
Develop full knowledge of application information required, screening processes, and policies regarding rentals
Conduct out-reach marketing at least once per week
Develop and maintain an on-going resident retention program, encouraging current residents to renew their lease
Organize all resident and property files
Handle resident requests and complaints appropriately
Contribute towards the collection of delinquent rents
