About The Position

American Landmark Apartments is seeking an experienced and driven Leasing Manager for The Legend, a 480-unit community in San Antonio, Texas. The Leasing Manager role is crucial to the company's success and involves overseeing property operations under the direction of the Regional Manager. This includes responsibilities related to due diligence, community acquisition/disposition, and participation in company committees and functions.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years working in the apartment industry as a Property Manager
  • Knowledge of RealPage/LRO and One-Site or similar systems is required
  • Strong customer service experience required
  • Background and drug screening are a requirement

Nice To Haves

  • College degree helpful but not required
  • Bi-lingual helps

Responsibilities

  • Directly supervise office staff
  • Conduct daily physical inspections of the property
  • Manage the property's leasing efforts
  • Utilize company leasing techniques and sales methods
  • Maintain full knowledge of property rental information
  • Operate the property's budget within company financial guidelines
  • Interview, screen, and hire staff
  • Prioritize resident requests with efficient and courteous responses
  • Generate various company-required reports
  • Collaborate on the design and implementation of a resident retention program (e.g., newsletter, resident referral program, social activities)
  • Secure at least 10% of the overall closed leases at the property
