About The Position

The Leasing Manager is responsible for advertising available properties, showing properties to prospective tenants, negotiating leasing terms, processing applications, and ensuring all lease documentation is accurate and compliant. This role also involves coordinating move-in/move-out processes, handling tenant complaints, staying updated on market conditions and property laws, and collaborating with maintenance teams. The Leasing Manager will develop and implement leasing strategies, organize promotional activities, and prepare reports on leasing activity and occupancy rates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field
  • Prior experience in property management or real estate
  • Proficiency in property management software and CRM systems
  • Strong sales and marketing skills
  • Exceptional negotiation and conflict resolution abilities
  • Familiarity with local property laws and regulations
  • Experience with social media and online marketing platforms
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in leasing or property management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

  • Certification such as Certified Property Manager (CPM) or Leasing Professional (CLP)
