About The Position

MG Properties is seeking a Leasing Manager for Riverwalk at Happy Valley, an apartment property in Happy Valley, Oregon. The role provides customer service to residents and prospective residents while using sales and marketing techniques to maintain high occupancy. The Leasing Manager also supports property administration and helps train and oversee the leasing team.

As a condition of employment, employees must acknowledge and consent to the possibility of audio recordings during work duties. Candidates identified for the position will be asked to submit to a background check and drug screen.

• Two years of property management experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet prospective residents in a timely and friendly manner.
• Qualify apartment applicants thoroughly and promptly.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff to support smooth move-ins.
• Maintain thorough, up-to-date rental files.
• Enter rental data accurately into the computer.
• Prepare leases and oversee lease signings by new residents.
• Assist with monthly administrative tasks and keep property paperwork organized and complete.
• Interact professionally with residents to resolve maintenance issues, handle complaints, and ensure timely rent payment.
• Assist with training and oversight of the leasing team.
• Use professional sales and marketing techniques and customer service skills to maintain high occupancy.
