As a Full-Time Leasing Associate at Price Edwards & Company, your role will be pivotal in supporting the operations of our tax-credit community. You will assist in managing activities related to the maintenance and functioning of our facilities while directly engaging with prospective residents. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include showcasing apartments, following up with interested applicants, and ensuring a seamless application process by preparing move-in packets. Additionally, you will be responsible for scanning and managing leases, ensuring all documentation is organized and accessible. This position offers an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in enhancing community living while building strong relationships with residents and potential tenants.
Requirements
- Proficiency in software tools such as Yardi is crucial for managing leasing processes and maintaining accurate records.
- A solid foundation in bookkeeping and accounting will enhance your ability to handle financial aspects related to resident applications and move-ins.
- Familiarity with tax credit regulations is necessary to navigate the complexities of our community effectively.
- Strong computer skills are required to ensure efficiency in documenting and processing applications.
- Exceptional communication and customer service abilities will empower you to engage with prospective residents, making them feel valued and welcomed in their search for a new home.
- Yardi and/or Bookkeeping and accounting experience helpful.
- Computer experience helpful.
- Tax credit knowledge is needed.
