About The Position

The Dermot Company is seeking a full-time Leasing & Management Associate to manage the day-to-day property management and leasing functions for their luxury residential portfolio in Manhattan and surrounding areas. This role contributes to operational excellence, exceptional resident experiences, and upholding company standards. It is an onsite position with hours of 9-6pm, including weekends, requiring regular interaction with others and the use of standard office equipment. The incumbent will sit, stand, or walk for long periods depending on the task.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two (2) years of property management experience in a multifamily building environment.
  • Some experience dealing with required laws and regulations regarding property management and multifamily and mix-use buildings in NY.
  • Real estate license or willingness to obtain the real estate license within the time allotted.
  • Exceptional presentation, interpersonal, communication and follow-through skills.
  • Eagerness to roll up your sleeves to get the job done and learn to grow with the organization.
  • Proficient in various property management technologies, MSOffice and Google Suite.
  • Stellar references.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without any restrictions.

Nice To Haves

  • Leasing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Be the first responder for resident and prospect calls and inquiries.
  • Meet the needs of the residents in a timely and courteous manner while ensuring building standards, policies and procedures.
  • Support the management team with resident relations, move in/out procedures, amenity upkeep and general office matters.
  • Support the leasing team with renewals, tours, lease applications and social media efforts.
  • Assist with all weekly and monthly reporting as assigned.
  • Complete additional projects tasks as assigned.
