About The Position

The Leasing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Leasing Department and FWR’s objectives, performance drivers, and strategic initiatives. This role involves preparing financial and leasing analyses, project reports, budget preparation/tracking, administrative duties, and coordinating various department strategy initiatives. The position offers a training platform with the expectation for advancement to a junior deal-making role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a finance-related field required.
  • 0-2 years of experience in leasing or related real estate discipline.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at once with a high rate of accuracy and sense of urgency.
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple team members.
  • Strong analytical skills, highly proficient in Excel and able to create and manipulate financial investment analysis using that tool.
  • Familiar with a variety of real estate industry concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Familiar with Auto-CAD, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe PDF editor.

Responsibilities

  • Compile and update economic deal term analyses, letters of intent, renewal documents, pylon sign matrices, and other deal-specific documents.
  • Review and analyze legal documents, such as leases, to determine Landlord’s ability to lease to prospective tenants.
  • Update portfolio summary sheets on a quarterly basis.
  • Run operational reports including lease profiles, sales, rent rolls, lease expiration reports, exclusives, and tenant types.
  • Strategize with dealmaker to develop target prospect tenant lists for each center based on categories not yet served by the existing tenant base.
  • Assist in providing plans and property info to prospective tenants, as well as collection of tenant financial packages.
  • Provide market detail about tenant growth or contraction using available resources such as CreditIntel and Placer.
  • Gather tenant financial information and provide to asset management; track and organize documentation and review for accuracy and completeness.
  • Engage with listing broker team by maintaining listing agreements, processing commission invoices, directing brokers when brochures and site plans require updates, compiling market comp data, and tracking broker invoices and payments.
  • Attend industry events such as ICSC and webinars upon request.
  • Assist with compilation of deal package information and quality control in Salesforce/VTS software with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Prepare for annual budgeting by coordinating market comps, income summaries, project visuals, and option term research.
  • Schedule meetings with tenants, brokers, and leasing team members.
  • Perform administrative functions such as expense reimbursements and travel bookings.
  • Collaborate with marketing and leasing teams to assist in tenant outreach, providing tenants with information highlighting the features of the trade area, market, and space in order to convince prospective tenants.
  • Manage the lead-to-lease platform, including training and data support for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with the leasing team on special projects; development includes assisting with renewals, assignments, and learning FWR negotiation points.
  • Work with third-party landlord brokers, including tracking status of brokerage agreements.
  • Monitor periodicals and book ordering to ensure proper recording.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
