About The Position

Golub & Company LLC is seeking a Leasing Consultant to manage all leasing activities for River City Apartments, a 448-unit property in Chicago's South Loop. This role involves conducting tours, processing applications, preparing leases, managing lease files, and utilizing leasing software and CRM systems. The position also requires providing excellent customer service, monitoring competitor rates, assisting with move-ins/move-outs, managing resident service requests, conducting facility walk-throughs, maintaining amenity schedules, and coordinating resident events. On-site employees are the primary point of contact for residents and prospects, embodying the company's shared values.

Requirements

At least 2 years of sales-related experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Administrative acumen.
Must have or be willing to obtain a current Illinois leasing agent license.

Previous apartment leasing experience.
Proven, exceptional closing skills.

Responsibilities

Conducts leasing activities, including touring prospective residents, processing applications, and preparing leases following all regulatory guidelines.
Enters new lease information into leasing software and ensures accuracy.
Prepares, maintains, and manages new and existing lease files.
Monitors the CRM system and consistently follows up on prospective leads and existing resident inquiries.
Provides excellent customer service to residents, prospects, vendors, visitors, and other customers.
Monitors and evaluates competitors’ rental rates, prepares weekly market surveys, and recommends rental rate changes.
Assists in the move-in / move-out process.
Receives resident service requests and administers the building work order system.
Conducts regular walk-throughs of the facility and reports concerns to building maintenance.
Maintains schedules for amenity spaces.
Coordinates resident events and sends out communication.
