About The Position

The Leasing Consultant is responsible for the day-to-day leasing and marketing operations of Greene Crossing while maintaining positive resident relations. Duties include engaging prospective residents, following up on leads, supporting community marketing and events, addressing resident questions and concerns, and completing reporting and administrative tasks. This job description is a guide rather than an all-inclusive or permanent list of duties; additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned by a supervisor.

Requirements

At least one year of customer service and/or sales experience.
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to resolve escalated customer concerns.
Understanding of Fair Housing.
Minimum education: high school diploma and some college.

Nice To Haves

Property management leasing experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.

Responsibilities

Answer calls and persuade potential residents to visit the property or its website.
Greet potential residents, parents, visitors, and existing residents professionally.
Pursue leads by completing daily follow-ups in the leasing database.
Place delinquency phone calls.
Complete guest cards and send thank-you notes.
Attend and participate in resident events, including event cleanup.
Build working relationships with universities, local institutions, employers, local businesses, and cultural centers to attract prospects.
Execute and promote resident events.
Set up on campus and distribute promotional items.
Conduct community marketing, including meeting local businesses and distributing flyers.
Frequently tour competitors to gather information about leasing strategies, specials, occupancy, prelease percentages, and property upkeep.
Address and resolve questions and concerns in a timely manner.
Log packages.
Generate mailings.
Collect checks and monies owed.
File leases.
