The Leasing Community Intern delivers high-quality customer service to residents and prospective residents, collaborates with the community team, and supports efforts to achieve full occupancy by retaining residents, leasing available apartments, and pre-leasing future availability. The role includes front-desk administration, leasing activities, lease paperwork and file maintenance, community events, training, and on-call duties. This is a temporary, non-exempt position scheduled for approximately 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends. Interns must reapply annually; prior employment does not guarantee rehire. The work takes place inside and outside apartment buildings and throughout the property, including amenities. The role involves frequent exposure to outdoor elements and potentially unpleasant or hazardous temperatures, weather, odors, and landscape conditions. Rare local travel may be needed to assist other properties or attend training. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
