About The Position

The Leasing & Marketing Assistant's primary role is to support the planning of community events, actively engage in on- and off-campus activities, and provide service to prospective residents to achieve goals set by the Community Manager. This role requires an outgoing individual who will act as a quality leader to the Community Ambassadors. The duties may evolve as community needs change.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain model and tour route daily.
  • Assist with property curb appeal maintenance.
  • Assist in tracking and reporting leasing data, metrics, and goals.
  • Assist in developing and executing strategies for resident retention and acquisition.
  • Create and maintain relationships with vendors.
  • Organize and manage monthly resident events.
  • Organize and manage monthly marketing events.
  • Prepare for and execute housing fairs and other on-campus events.
  • Assist with social media campaigns to maintain a social media presence.
  • Ensure follow-up activities are completed for all prospective residents.
  • Report to shifts on time.

  • Assist in roommate placement and matching.
  • Understand the lease document and addendums, and communicate relevant information to prospective residents and parents.

  • Assist in collecting rents, security deposits, and other income.
  • Operate marketing activities within budget, seeking approval for deviations.
  • Provide documentation/receipts for all company purchases.
  • Co-facilitate annual Leasing Training.
  • Assist in tracking Leasing Ambassador performance through lease audits.
  • Understand and exceed the needs and expectations of prospective residents, clients, and vendors.
  • Develop a sense of community among prospective residents and staff.
  • Maintain active and effective communication with prospective residents, parents, and university personnel.
  • Represent the community and Landmark Properties professionally.
  • Maintain a positive community environment and encourage participation in events.
  • Assist future residents in mediating conflicts, proactively and reactively.
  • Help keep the community clean by surveying common areas and reporting concerns or assisting with cleanup.
  • Document and address resident behaviors that violate the law or community lease agreement.
  • Identify and report safety and security risks to the Community Manager.
