About The Position

The Lease Retention Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining long-term relationships with our clients by helping them navigate their lease-end options and connecting them with opportunities to upgrade, renew, or purchase their vehicle. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, creating opportunities, and helping customers through an important stage of vehicle ownership.

Requirements

  • A relationship-focused professional who enjoys helping customers and building trust.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers by phone, email, text, and in person.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Highly organized with excellent follow-up and time management skills.
  • Comfortable working with customer databases, CRM systems, and tracking activity metrics.
  • Ability to identify opportunities and create customer interest without being overly aggressive.
  • Professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude.

Nice To Haves

  • Automotive dealership, BDC, customer service, sales support, or retention experience is preferred.
  • Experience working with lease customers or automotive sales processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively contact customers approaching lease maturity through phone, email, text, and other approved communication channels.
  • Educate customers on lease-end options, including lease renewal, vehicle upgrades, lease buyouts, and vehicle returns.
  • Generate appointments for the sales team by identifying customers who may benefit from replacing or upgrading their current vehicle.
  • Review lease maturity reports, equity opportunities, and loyalty programs to identify qualified customers.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, follow-up activities, and appointment outcomes in the CRM.
  • Coordinate with sales, finance, and management teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Support dealership lease retention initiatives and manufacturer loyalty programs.
  • Consistently follow up with customers to maximize appointment show rates and retention opportunities.
