Lease Renewal and Collections Specialist- Real Estate License Required
About The Position
This role is for experienced Property Managers who are ready to stop firefighting and focus on the work they do best, with the support, systems, and schedule they need. The Lease Renewal and Collections Specialist will be the trusted advisor and day-to-day point of contact for owners and residents regarding lease renewals and rent collections. This involves setting rent strategy with owners, keeping residents informed, maintaining clean records, and owning key performance indicators (KPIs) such as occupancy, rent delinquency, and budget variance. The company emphasizes relationships over day-to-day operational tasks, providing dedicated leasing and maintenance support so the specialist can focus on managing their operation effectively. The role operates Monday through Friday, with no weekend work required.
Requirements
- Active Virginia Real Estate License.
- Experience in property management.
- Ability to build order out of chaos and create running systems from messy portfolios.
- Consultative approach to advising owners on rent pricing and delinquency.
- Calm demeanor when facing problems.
- Attention to metrics such as occupancy, delinquency, and budget variance.
