About The Position

As a Lease Operator, you will monitor, optimize, and maintain oil and gas production and injection wells. You will help ensure peak efficiency and reliability of production equipment and support Health, Environment, and Safety processes. The job involves working on assigned oil and gas producing properties using safe work practices and acceptable environmental procedures to maximize earnings while minimizing costs.

Well types include flowing, beam pump with electronic pump-off controller, plunger lift, water injection, and water disposal. Facilities and equipment include production tank batteries, flowlines, LACT facilities, water injection plants, natural gas compression, cathodic protection, and metering devices such as electronic gas measurement equipment. Daily work includes monitoring multiple well sites by vehicle, testing and troubleshooting equipment and mechanical problems, completing required paperwork, and performing housekeeping and field maintenance. Non-scheduled callouts outside normal business hours can be expected.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of Lease Operator experience.
• Willingness to work rotating day and night shifts.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to meet conditional job offer requirements, including background check, drug test, motor vehicle record check, agility assessment, and fit-for-duty requirements.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds, climb ladders and stairs, and perform walking and bending.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment and respond to visual and audible alarms.
• Understanding of environmental and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Monitor multiple well sites daily by vehicle.
• Test, calibrate, and troubleshoot equipment and mechanical problems.
• Complete mandatory paperwork required by the customer and regulatory agencies.
• Perform general housekeeping and field maintenance.
• Respond to non-scheduled callouts outside normal business hours as needed.
