About The Position

As a Lease Operator, you will monitor, optimize, and maintain oil and gas production and injection wells. You will help ensure the efficiency and reliability of production equipment and support Health, Environment, and Safety processes. The role involves working on a variety of wells and facilities and using safe work practices and acceptable environmental procedures to maximize earnings while minimizing costs on assigned oil and gas producing properties.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of oil and gas experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid U.S. driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Must meet conditional job offer requirements, including background check, hair-follicle drug test, motor vehicle record check, agility assessment, and fit-for-duty requirements.
• Must understand environmental and safe work practices.
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds, climb ladders and stairs, walk, bend, and stop.
• Must be able to wear personal protective equipment and respond to visual and audible alarms.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of Lease Operator experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor multiple well sites daily by vehicle.
• Optimize and maintain oil and gas production and injection wells.
• Help ensure production equipment operates efficiently and reliably.
• Test, calibrate, and troubleshoot equipment and mechanical problems.
• Complete mandatory paperwork required by customers and regulatory agencies.
• Perform general housekeeping and field maintenance.
• Employ safe work practices and acceptable environmental procedures.
