About The Position

Saul Centers, Inc. is seeking a Lease Analyst to join their team. The Lease Analyst will be responsible for reading and understanding leases, extracting financial data for input into the accounting system, managing tenant relationships, and addressing billing inquiries. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring positive tenant relations within the company's real estate portfolio of shopping centers and office properties.

Requirements

Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat).
Punctual, dependable, and reliable.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to deal effectively and tactfully with a wide variety of individuals in person, via telephone, and in writing.
Ability to work in a positive and cooperative manner with fellow team members.
Strong attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines.
Capability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.
2 - 3 years training as a Lease Administrator or similar position.
Real Estate experience required.

Responsibilities

Abstract new leases, amendments, terminations, and option renewals.
Apply cash payments received from tenants in accordance with the remittance advice provided.
Review and monitor tenant account balances, and follow up on significant outstanding tenant receivables as necessary.
Correspond with tenants regarding billing and account inquiries.
Prepare monthly rent rolls.
Prepare and send out monthly courtesy statements for all tenants.
Collaborate with collections, property management, and leasing departments to provide information and resolve tenant inquiries.
Assist with tax and operating expense billings to tenants.
Assist with special projects or assignments as necessary.
