About The Position

Miller Transportation Group is a mid-size, rapidly growing leader in the transportation industry that has been family-owned since 1912. Headquartered in Mount Holly, NJ the company operates several business units. Miller Transportation Group is looking for a Lease Account Manager to support our growing company in the Syracuse, NY and surrounding area. This position is an addition to our sales team and will require a combination of outside sales and account management experience. Ideal applicants will have commercial truck leasing experience and the ability to work independently.

Requirements

• Prior business development experience in Commercial Truck Leasing and/or Commercial Truck Rental Required
• Outside sales experience and see yourself as a Hunter who can also build strong relationships with current customers
• Willingness to travel as necessary within your territory
• A valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Associate's Degree
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products and ability to manage a territory

Nice To Haves

• A Bachelor's Degree
• Familiarity with DOT regulations

Responsibilities

• Sell commercial truck leasing services to businesses in accordance with established company guidelines
• Responsible to follow the company's merchandising plan in developing the leasing customer base on both an aggregate and branch basis
• Act as a liaison between internal customers such as the maintenance department, rental sales representatives, and administration
• Knowledgeable of trucks, truck equipment, and trucking regulations
