This work involves providing academic guidance, retention strategies, and individualized success interventions to help college athletes navigate educational requirements and overall college life. It includes supporting at-risk populations, coordinating targeted programs, and ensuring progress toward academic goals. Serves as a secondary contact for students who pose retention risks, providing complex organizational information about educational options, academic requirements, and addressing their academic needs. Supports student programs and facilitates individual student success interventions designed for targeted student populations, such as students who are deemed as academically at-risk, have diagnosed learning disabilities, including but not limited to students who are first-year, transfer, first-generation, and/or high financial need. Position requires a non-traditional work schedule which may include evenings, weekends and overnight travel. Expectation is to assist students in achieving academic success and maintaining athletic eligibility while persisting toward graduation.
