About The Position
The Learning Specialist provides academic support to students across various colleges and departments at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. This includes coordinating and delivering personalized academic counseling, coaching on learning strategies, and conducting workshops on time management, test-taking, study skills, stress management, and board preparation. This position helps students navigate the rigorous demands of the health science curriculum, offering guidance on issues such as organization, test anxiety, and exam preparation. This position also involves evaluating and improving support services based on student feedback.
