About The Position

QTS' summer internship program will provide you first hand experience into the fast paced world of the data center industry by providing weekly lunch and learns, a comprehensive orientation program, site based activities, socials and volunteering events. Every intern will be assigned initiatives tied to real QTS objectives helping with anything pertaining to the whole life-cycle of a data center build and/or company operations. The Learning Operations Analyst Intern will gain direct experience on what it means to run a segment of Learning and Development within an organization. You will be assigned solo as well as collaborative assignments that empower you to directly impact coworkers across the business.

Requirements

  • Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management, Economics, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, STEM, Data Science, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint for presentations and Excel for data analysis and budgeting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Must be a US Citizen

Nice To Haves

  • Current full-time enrollment in one of QTS’s partner institutions (listed below) or a Blackstone Launchpad affiliate school: Auburn University, Kansas State University, Georgia State University, Southern Adventist University, Texas A&M University, University of Kansas
  • Previous internship or co-op experience in construction, finance, technology, HR, facilities engineering, or related industries.
  • Experience with data analysis tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Experience with programming languages like Python, Java, etc.
  • Involvement in community activities outside of schoolwork (athletics, clubs, volunteering, part-time employment).

Responsibilities

  • Develop operations analytics around phases of L&D initiatives
  • Design SOPs around L&D best practices for different stages of engagements
  • Help prepare dashboards and reports on learning module/session outcomes and participation
  • Provide quality checks on course material
  • Develop knowledge articles across a variety of topics
