About The Position

LifeScape is seeking a Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator to join their Training & Development team. This role is responsible for the hands-on administration, maintenance, configuration, and optimization of the organization’s Learning Management System. The LMS Administrator is crucial for ensuring employees have access to necessary training, maintaining accurate training records, and supporting regulatory, accreditation, compliance, and organizational requirements. This position collaborates with Human Resources, HR Technology, Learning & Development, Information Technology, and subject matter experts to create an effective and user-friendly learning environment. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Learning & Development, Education, Business, Information Management, or a related field required.
  • Two to four years of experience administering an LMS, HR technology system, human resources solution, or related technology platform required.
  • A combination of higher education and relevant experience providing equivalent knowledge and skills may be considered.
  • All positions require a clear background check and drug screen upon conditional offer.

Responsibilities

  • Administer, maintain, configure, and optimize the organization’s Learning Management System.
  • Manage user roles, permissions, and responsibilities to maintain a secure and organized learning environment.
  • Configure courses, learning plans, curricula, certifications, enrollment rules, prerequisites, and other LMS functionality in accordance with organizational and compliance requirements.
  • Stay informed of LMS upgrades, enhancements, and new functionality and support implementation as appropriate.
  • Convert recorded training content into appropriate e-learning formats, including SCORM, and upload content into the LMS in accordance with Continuing Education and Training Guidelines.
  • Partner with Learning Experience Designers and subject matter experts (SMEs) to publish, update, and maintain learning content.
  • Maintain an accurate, current, and well-organized course catalog.
  • Track and support regulatory, accreditation, compliance, and organizational training requirements through the LMS.
  • Maintain accurate, reliable, and organized employee training records and data.
  • Monitor course completion and compliance records and communicate concerns or trends to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Generate compliance data and create analytics dashboards using LMS reporting capabilities.
  • Create, maintain, and distribute standard and customized LMS reports.
  • Monitor learner enrollment, course completion, compliance, attendance, participation, and overall training activity.
  • Develop recurring reports and automated reporting processes when available within the LMS.
  • Serve as the organization’s subject matter expert and primary point of contact for LMS-related questions and support requests.
  • Train employees and other users on LMS functionality and processes as needed.
  • Provide staff training and other support to the Training Department as assigned.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities consistent with the position and organizational needs.
