About The Position

Fidelity is seeking an inquisitive, forward-thinking Learning Experience Designer who is passionate about instructional design and collaborative development of innovative digital learning. The role supports talent programs and learning organizations by producing solutions that deliver business outcomes. It focuses heavily on digital development to create the core of industry-leading learning experiences, complemented by traditional learning modalities for a rich, layered experience.

As part of Fidelity’s Enterprise Skills and Learning team, the designer will help deliver modern learning experiences across the enterprise. The role involves designing and developing high-quality learning solutions on digital platforms to create impactful learning experiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 2–5 years of relevant work experience in Learning Experience Design, User Experience Design, and/or Front-End Web Development.
• Experience with graphic design and prototyping tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe XD, or Figma.
• Experience designing rich, interactive digital experiences and developing them with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• In-depth knowledge and skills in instructional design and adult learning theory.
• Strong communication skills and demonstrated excellence in project management.
• Ability to work independently as a self-starter under general direction.
• Ability to collaborate constructively with diverse individuals and groups, both in person and virtually.
• Candidates must submit relevant portfolio samples showcasing their learning experience design work.
• Fidelity will not provide immigration sponsorship for this position.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop learning experiences that improve performance and deliver business outcomes.
• Create interactive digital experiences and use traditional learning modalities to build rich, layered experiences.
• Lead, design, and develop large-scale projects under tight time constraints.
• Collaborate with Business Leaders and Talent Product Owners on plans and strategy for large-scale initiatives and complex projects.
• Advocate for user-centered design and outcome-based thinking.
• Experiment with and explore new ideas to expand learning capabilities.
• Build and maintain constructive, collaborative relationships with diverse individuals and groups, in person and virtually.
