The Learning and Development Program Manager is responsible for implementation, management and maintenance of the learning and development programs and training initiatives. This involves training, onboarding new trainers to the team, development content, reporting and program/project management.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong graphic design ability
  • Thorough understanding of training processes
  • Ability to moderate large groups
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • At least two years of experience in training

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the execution of training initiatives, manage schedules, registration and ensures alignment with strategic objectives
  • Updates and maintain training content, programs and resources across all Learning and Development
  • Serves as a Learning and Development trainer to facilitate training to team members
  • Learns and is well versed in Guest Centric Training to teach curriculum to all Team Members and new hires
  • Reviews existing training programs; suggests enhancements and modifications to improve engagement, learning, and retention and/or to meet the changing needs of clientele, the organization, or the industry
  • Ensures that training materials and programs are current, accurate, and effective
  • Develops and monitors metrics and reports to assess program effectiveness, collect feedback and integrate training approaches as needed
  • Partners with the Learning Management System teams to develop and track course data within the LMS
  • Works with leaders and team members to coordinate training schedules and logistics to meet the needs of the business
  • Provides regular feedback to store level leadership regarding current class attendees and program changes
  • Performs other related duties to benefit the mission/vision of the organization
