The Learning & Development Intern supports the design, delivery, and administration of training programs for the Family History Department of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This role plays a key part in new hire onboarding and new manager development, while also supporting broader learning initiatives across the department. Primary responsibilities include coordinating training logistics, managing training calendars, creating class invitations, tracking attendance and completion records, issuing certificates, and monitoring a shared training inbox. The intern will also create and distribute surveys, compile participant feedback, and help measure training effectiveness. The intern will serve as a presenter or co-presenter for onboarding and other department-wide learning experiences. Opportunities may also arise to assist in the development of new training programs, facilitate focus groups, and contribute to Talent & Culture initiatives. Additionally, the intern will participate in supporting RootsTech and other department events as assigned.
